Whether it is a Kenworth semitrucks, Trekker tractors, or anything in between; when it comes to the large jobs – Diesel Technology will always prevail. Our instructors are industry professionals that will teach you the ins and outs of the Diesel engine and other critical components such as Hydraulics, Fabrication, Equipment Operation, Inspection/Diagnostic Techniques, Engine, Drivetrain, and much more.

J-Tech’s Diesel Technology program is your opportunity to get on the fast-track to a career in the diesel industry, with an Occupational Associates Degree awarded upon graduation.

As a student in the Diesel Technology Program, you’ll be trained in the diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and their various systems including diesel engines, suspension and steering, drive train components that include transmissions and axles, brakes, preventive maintenance inspection, electrical/electronic systems, heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

As a student in the Automotive Technology Program, you’ll be learning basic automotive maintenance, diagnostic procedures and effective repair methods, using testing equipment and specialized tools. The program also includes training on electrical, HVAC, engine performance, suspension, steering, brake systems, and transmission diagnosis and repair.
But it’s not all boring classroom lectures at J‑Tech Institute. We believe the best training comes from learning in a realistic setting. Our laboratory settings are designed to represent the actual automotive environments you could expect to find working in the automotive industry.
