As a student in the Marine and Recreational Vehicle Technology Program, you have a unique advantage upon graduation. You’ll learn the ins and outs of the marine side and the land side of recreational vehicles. Where else can you get that in a single program? To put it briefly, you’ll be learning logical diagnostic procedures and effective repair methods for a variety of recreational vehicles including but not limited to:
The program is part of the Yamaha Marine University and includes training with modern test equipment and specialized tools that replicate real working environments. The J-Tech shop provides a multi-level approach using computerized diagnostic information systems, system specific specialty tools, electronic circuit testing tools and meters, and air conditioning charging and recovery equipment. This will help ensure that when you graduate, you’ll be ready to pass the ABYC Certification exam.
At J-Tech, we work best when we’re hands-on. We believe the best training comes from learning in a realistic environment. Our laboratory settings are designed to represent the actual shop environments you could expect to find working in the industry.
I provide my express consent for J-Tech to contact me at the number(s) provided about their programs using a variety of methods, including phone (both mobile or home, dialed manually or automatically), email, mail, text message, and social media until J-Tech is notified otherwise. I am not required to provide consent in order to attend Jones Technical Institute.
With this unique program you get an in-depth and behind the scenes look at both the RV field as well as the Marine field. After graduation you can choose to stick to one of these or to specialize in both, depending on how many hours you would like to work. Below we outline some figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics:
