HVAC-R Technician program.

J-Tech’s HVAC-R program curriculum was designed to prepare graduates for EPA certification, and to help them develop the practical skills employers are looking for. You’ll get real-life experience through hands-on and classroom instruction in the diagnostic procedures, repair, and installation methods of the different HVAC systems. Plus, our team of dedicated instructors are there to offer support from the day you step on campus until the day you graduate.

When it comes to jobs that are always going to be in demand, it’s safe to say that HVAC technicians and the HVAC industry are—in some ways—recession-proof. After all, people everywhere rely on skilled HVAC-R techs to keep indoor climates comfortable and the perishables we rely on. Factor in that on average, there are 37,700 openings for HVAC technicians every year, and the words “job security” come to mind!

Plus, the HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration) industry also plays an important role in critical areas like healthcare and the transport of food, medicine, and other essential good.
