Marine & RV Mechanic School
If working on recreational vehicles—for both land and sea—sounds like an adventure, then look no further. J-Tech’s Marine and RV Technician program isn’t just about boats and RVs. You’ll be learning proper diagnostic procedures and repair methods for other motorized machines too.
Whether it’s riding roads or riding waves, people love the machines that allow them to do it. And considering over 11 million households in the U.S. own an RV* and nearly 289K own boats**—the demand for skilled technicians to work on those machines isn’t going anywhere. And with high demand comes job security.
Part of Yamaha Marine University’s training program, the curriculum also includes comprehensive instruction on how to use modern test equipment and specialized tools in realistic work environments. Our fully equipped shop offers a multi-level approach where students gain valuable, hands-on experience working on computerized diagnostic systems, system specific specialty tools, electronic circuit testing tools and meters, and air conditioning charing and recovery equipment. Students receive preparatory education and will sit for each of the four (4) components of Yamaha’s Maintenance Certification Program (MCP).
