World’s Fastest Cars

A love for fast cars might not always make sense to the average driver. Especially when you consider the maximum speed limit around the world averages around 75 mph, with only two no speed-limit areas in the entire world; Germany and parts of Australia. But that doesn’t stop true motorheads from craving cars with more power, and more speed. Car manufacturers love to give the people what they want. Buckle up folks and check out the top 5 fastest cars in the world.

5. Bugatti Chiron – Bugatti’s founder was born in Milan, Italy but the automobile company responsible for producing this elite machine is actually located in France. Only 500 of the Chirons were released and the supercar actually came out after its slightly faster predecessor, the Veyron Super Sport. The Chiron comes with a $2.6 million dollar price tag.

4. Bugatti Veyron Super Sport – Another Bugatti makes the list. The 1200 HP Veyron Super Sport can get up to 268 mph and has a price tag of $2 million dollars.

3. Hennessey Venom GT – The saying “everything’s bigger in Texas” could be replaced by everything’s faster if you consider the Texas-based manufacturer of the Venom GT. This baby can climb to speeds of 270 mph. And compared to others on the list, the Venom GT is a bargain at $1.2 million.

2. Koenigsegg Agera RS – This Swedish beast of a car at 1160 HP, is capable of a whopping 278 mph and can be all yours for the small price of $2.5 million.
